This oven rack is a genuine OEM part that measures approximately 18 1/4 by 15 inches. It acts as a shelf for placing food while it cooks or bakes in your oven. You will find it inside the oven cavity, and you can adjust its height to different positions. If the rack is damaged, you might notice bent metal bars, broken welds, or loose connections. It can also get stuck when you try to slide it in or out of the oven. If you do not replace a broken oven rack, your food may cook unevenly, and there is a risk that the rack might unexpectedly collapse, causing spills or burns. To remove an oven rack, first make sure your oven is turned off and cooled down. Open the oven door and grip the rack with both hands. Lift the front end slightly and tilt it upward while pulling it toward you until it slides out completely. If it is stuck, you can try gently moving it back and forth or side to side. Using food-safe lubricants can also help in this situation. If you are replacing more than one rack, please keep in mind that this part is sold individually.

Two top burners would not light, defective switch
Warning- we found a lot of bare wires in this stove, check your wires before replacing the bad switches. I lifted the top, disconnected the power, pulled off the knobs, unscrewed the switch for the back light, removed seven screws to finally get the front panel off. Once you have the front panel off, changing the swich takes less than a minute. The switches just slide off the gas valve stems. Instructions show how to line up the new D-shaped switch mechanism to match the D-shaped shaft. Gently pull the two wires off the old switch and slide onto the new switch. Then put the panel back.
